The welcome at the PALAIS
At Pan Deï PALAIS, you are welcomed as Maharani and Maharaja. Loyal to the legendary hospitality of the Orient and Asia, the hosts display a constant concern for the well-being of the guests. This spirit guides the couple in their welcome.
With over 15 years of working for a fine international clientele Patricia Presse and Stephane le Grall have a long professional experience of luxury hotels. So they know all about the most extraordinary desires which sometimes need to be satisfied right away, and they love it. «We start each day with a renewed passion for our work», Patricia states. The love of their job is a passion which they share and which blossoms at the Pan Dei PALAIS. This makes all the difference. «The Pan Dei PALAIS project came like a bolt from the blue», confides Patricia who knows India well having travelled there. Here, with this slice of beauty and exoticism she revives the spirit of people who have charmed her on her travels.
In February 2006 the couple were entrusted with the running of the Pan Dei PALAIS. Over 9 months, with perfectionism and tenacity they would orchestrate the completion of the work up until the opening in November 2006. This development period would enable them to surround themselves with associates who share the same work ethic and the same vital quality expressed with a natural gentleness. The chef Sato, the concierge Ema and a team of 12 people have since joined Patricia and Stephane. All concerned with the well-being of their guests in a spirit of service which is very Pan Dei PALAIS.

The Pan Deï PALAIS
An Indian jewel at the heart of Saint-Tropez
The Pan Deï PALAIS has finally opened its doors. Built in 1835 by General Allard for his wife Princess Pan Deï, this historical mansion has become an elegantly exotic small luxury hotel. Located at 52, Boulevard Gambetta, several metres from the Place des Lices, this legendary palace reignites the sumptuous era of colonial India.
It must be more than two years since this prestigious mansion rose from the ashes. Today transformed into a concept of accommodation new to Saint-Tropez, the Pan Deï PALAIS is open all year round. Once through the doorway of its discrete façade, you enter a timeless world. Amidst the bustling town, this place is a haven of peace. The Pan Deï PALAIS is truly a private garden, sheltered from curious glances and suffused with light, the fragrant vegetation, mosaic swimming pool with emerald reflections, the daybeds and "honeymoon" beds induce absolute relaxation. The Turkish bath, massages and beauty treatments complete the "tailor made" well-being services. Spending time at the Pan Deï PALAIS is a journey to another world.
The design of this palace is the fruit of an intense partnership between the owners who had truly fallen in love with it and the hosts of Pan Deï PALAIS Patricia Presse and Stéphane Le Grall. The architects Thomas Paturle and Michel Lefevbre and the interior designer Françoise Piault knew how to translate this vision and keep the appearance and spirit of a family home. The soul of the place is therefore intact, as if revived by a subtle oriental décor with the antiquities and objets d'art, statues, curtains and carpets brought back from India, Indonesia and the Orient evoking a calming exotic world. Its various oriental influences are combined harmoniously with maximum contemporary comfort. The particularly spacious and well lit bedrooms and bathrooms benefit from all the latest technologies available to the modern traveller. Wi-fi, LCD screen, air-conditioning, hi-fi, safe and mini-bar are discretely built in. The complete renovation of the 3 floors favours space and adjustability, so there are only 12 rooms which can be changed into suites or private apartments as required.
The Pan Deï PALAIS therefore offers all the elegance of oriental hospitality while taking care to satisfy the slightest desires. Patricia Presse and Stéphane Le Grall started their careers in the large luxury hotels in Saint-Tropez. A natural kindness and constant concern for the well-being of the guests guides the couple in their work. Food wise, the chef Satochi Kubota offers the hotel clients a simple, flavoursome cuisine. During the evening, and only the evening*, the Pan Deï PALAIS opens its beautiful oak door and anyone can discover its haute couture gastronomy served in the intimacy of the dining room. At Pan Deï PALAIS, you are welcomed as Maharani and Maharaja.
